Are you a real estate professional who has considered obtaining your Class 2 real estate licence? Regardless of your circumstances, the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419), formerly known as the ACT Real Estate Licence, will assist you in achieving your goals.
You can apply for your complete licence to practise as a Class 2 real estate agent in Canberra after completing this course. You can work in residential and commercial sales as well as property management in Canberra if you are a licenced real estate agent.

The Certificate of Registration ACT (Assistant Agent course) is a self-paced online course that National Property College also provides as a virtual in-person workshop. Monthly sessions are conducted through Google teams Teams.

The Certificate IV course lasts 40 weeks if it has no breaks.
What is the purpose of completing this programme?
You can become a Class 2 licenced agent and work in leasing or sales for both commercial and residential properties after completing this course.
What will this qualification enable me to do?
The academic prerequisite for applying for an ACT Class 2 licence will be satisfied by successfully completing the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419).
After receiving your certificate from National Property College, you can submit an application for your licence to Access Canberra.

Are there formal entrance requirements for this course?
Admission Requirements for both qualifications:

Students must be a minimum age of 18 years or above at the time of course commencement.

To enter this qualification, applicants should have successfully completed Year 12.

All learners will undertake an initial skills assessment (online) to determine suitability for the course and student needs. The review aims to identify their training needs through questions on previous education or training, the relevance of the course and relevant experience. Determination of course suitability and additional support (if any) will be made by a qualified assessor.

Mature age students may also be considered without the minimum education requirements but with relevant work experience within chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet course requirements.

All students will be required to complete an LLN assessment prior to the commencement of the course. National Property Education of Australia uses LLN robot platform for the assessment.
All reports, training supplements and recommendations are generated by the LLN Robot system after comparing the learner’s ACSF spiky profile to the profile of this course. -
For students to enrol into this course it is mandatory for them to have access to a laptop or computer with windows operating system and office application like MS Office at their own cost (refer to online requirements under 3.1 Delivery Arrangement for details)
